Why Briha
No table, no tick boxes. Just the three facts that actually separate us.
Large is 265g of wax. The jar it sits in weighs another 255g. Plenty of brands quote you the second number and hope you do not check.
Not stronger on the ones we want to sell. The same load in every candle we pour, which is why we can tell you honestly what each one smells like.
No third shift, no contract manufacturer, no warehouse. That is why the boxes take until 31 October, and why the card is handwritten.
Made by hand, not by a factory
We pour every Briha candle ourselves, in small batches, in Sydney. The incense, soap and lokta paper we pack alongside them are made by hand by small makers in Nepal. Every box is packed by hand too, card written and all.
We started Briha to make gifting feel personal again. Not another gift card. Not another candle from the same shelf as everyone else. Something that says you actually thought about them.

Single candles are in stock and ship the next business day. Gift boxes are made to order and ship from 31 October. Order by 15 December and it arrives before Christmas.
Free shipping on orders over $95. Under that it is a flat $17 anywhere in Australia. Or pick it up free at Paddington Markets on a Saturday or Bondi on a Sunday.
Soy wax, a cotton wick, 8% fragrance oil and a glass jar. Nothing else. No paraffin, no dyes, no lead in the wick.
Non-toxic, but it is still an open flame: flat surface, away from curtains and the cat, out before you leave the room, and stop at 1cm of wax left.
265g is the wax. 520g is the wax plus the glass. We list the wax, because that is the bit that burns. Plenty of brands quote the heavier number and hope you do not check.
Tell us within 30 days. We will pour it again in a different scent or refund you in full, and they keep the first one. Posting a half-burnt candle back to us helps nobody.
